Anders & Ørsted – Confidentiality Policy

Applicable to Ongoing Projects and Operational Activities

1. Purpose

This policy establishes clear expectations and obligations regarding the confidentiality of proprietary information related to Anders & Ørsted’s oil and gas exploration and production operations in Denmark.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, and third-party partners who access, handle, or manage confidential information in connection with Anders & Ørsted’s projects and operations.

3. Definition of Confidential Information

Confidential Information includes, but is not limited to:

• Geological and geophysical data

• Reservoir models, drilling schedules, and production data

• Technical designs and engineering specifications

• Project plans, budgets, and timelines

• Commercial contracts and financial records

• Client and partner information

• Proprietary software, algorithms, and technologies

• Internal communications and operational reports

4. Obligations of Personnel

All personnel must:

• Sign a confidentiality agreement prior to accessing sensitive project information

• Use confidential information solely for authorized business purposes

• Refrain from sharing confidential information with unauthorized parties, internally or externally

• Protect data using secure communication channels and storage systems

• Report any suspected breaches of confidentiality immediately

5. Third-Party Access

Third-party vendors or partners must:

• Enter into Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before receiving any confidential data

• Demonstrate secure data handling capabilities

• Limit access to only those personnel who need the information to perform contractual duties

6. Handling of Project Information

All documents and data related to ongoing projects must be:

• Stored in secure, access-controlled systems

• Clearly marked as “Confidential” or “Proprietary”

• Disposed of using approved methods when no longer needed (e.g., secure deletion or shredding)

7. Confidentiality During and After Employment

The duty to maintain confidentiality:

• Applies during employment and continues indefinitely after termination

• Prohibits the use of proprietary knowledge in subsequent roles or businesses without express written consent

8. Breach and Disciplinary Action

Unauthorized disclosure or mishandling of confidential information is a serious offense and may result in:

• Disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract

• Legal proceedings for damages or injunctive relief

9. Compliance and Training

Anders & Ørsted provides regular training and awareness programs to ensure all employees and contractors understand and comply with confidentiality protocols.

10. Review and Updates

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, or operational environments.
